SEIKO SRPA21K1 Turtle PADI Special Edition Prospex Automatic Diver. 4R36, 24 Jewel Movement

Seiko Watches have been supplying divers timepieces to both professional and recreational divers since 1965, earning a valued trust within the diving community. They have revealed some of the best innovations within the industry. A few months after the first Seiko divers watch was released, two American dive enthusiasts founded the Professional Association of Diving Instructors, an organisation that ensures the safety and enjoyment of divers while protecting the treasured marine environment. With a shared passion for these values, Seiko have released this Seiko Prospex PADI Automatic Diver Special Edition watch.

The Seiko Prospex PADI Automatic Diver Special Edition watch with its stainless steel case and easy to read dial is reminiscent of the very first Seiko divers watch, except the wide clear hands and indexes and distinctive red and blue PADI detailing make it a completely unique timepiece. Within the case, the calibre 4R36 mechanical movement works hard to promise a power reserve of 41 hours and an impressive water resistance of 200 metres. The watch is completed by a matching stainless steel bracelet with clasp and secure lock for easy wear and exceptional security.

Seiko Turtle Range

Seiko has a long association with manufacturing automatic divers watches dating back to 1965, they have recently looked back on their achievements in design from the past and are now reproducing reissues of some of their most classic models. The new turtle series, sold under the Prospex range is an upgraded reissue of their famous 6309 model of the 70s & 80s , made legendary by Martin Sheen in the film Apocalypse Now of 1979. This fabulous new upgraded series of watches now feature a slightly larger case, subtle dial and hand differences and the latest 4r36 calibre automatic movement which both hacks and manually winds, a significant improvement over the originals! The new model numbers for this range are, SRP773, blue dial, blue bezel, stainless bracelet, SRP775, black dial, black bezel, gold indices, stainless bracelet, SRP777, black dial, black bezel, rubber strap, and the SRP779, black dial, pepsi bezel, rubber strap. We highly recommend them!
